Christmas in New Mexico

This year we drove to Las Cruces, New Mexico to spend Christmas with my (Amy's) family. My parents-Greg & Pearl, my sister Marie & her family, my brother Nathaniel & his family, and one of my cousins Lisa & her family all live in the area. It was a long drive, 26 hours to get there, and 24 to get home. It also rained buckets on us for about 7 hours each way, from Florida to Lousiana, and from Lousiana to back home to Thomasville. But it was nice to spend a week out there and have a little vacation. My grandmother from Canada is there to vacation for 2 months, and our kids haven't met her yet, so we wanted them to get to meet her, and see the cousins they haven't seen since we moved here 4 years ago. We got to ride on some four wheelers, did lots of shopping, and played games with everyone. We ate at some really great restaurants, and played at the park. I took some family pictures while we were there, but the big family one my brother took. Santa did find us this year, the boys were worried he would leave the stuff at our house, but he didn't. And the boys got lots of stuff that we stuffed into Matt's little car, and drove home. Thanks mom and dad for letting us stay at your house. We had a great time seeing everyone.

Love to all and Happy New Year!!!
