OUR TEAM FROM THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS
We participated in the Thomasville Relay for Life Friday night. Our ward has a ward activity there, the boys and me went and walked around the track, and enjoyed some of the activities. I don't know many people that have had cancer, but I would like them to find a cure, for the future and for my family if something like this happens to any of us. It was neat to see all the people that walked in the survivors walk, all the different ages, from children to elderly people. I think this relay is a great way to raise money, and get the support from the community. We had an enjoyable time, and look forward to participating again in the future.

The boys enjoyed the activities that were available. They played in a jumpy house, and played some pirate games. We also watched some people dunk-a-cop in a dunking booth. The theme was fairy tales, so all the different booths were decorated like fairy tale stories, we saw one that was The Wizard of Oz, Shrek, and ours was Alice In Wonderland. The decorations were cool too. After it got dark the luminaries and torches were lit, and they looked really pretty all the way around the track. Also, on the bleachers luminaries were set up that spell H O P E. Our ward raised more than $3000, which is more than we raised last year. That is so AWESOME! We try to raise more each year than we did the previous year.
